2019 is in full swing and kicked off with the 2019 Golden Globes awards. The ceremony aims to highlight all the talent in the film and TV industry and sparks a loud contrast to the previous year. Whereas the 2018 red carpet was covered in black representing solidarity with the Time’s Up movement, this year welcomed back some of our favorite colors and designs.

Meanwhile, Homecoming star Julia Roberts wore a one-shoulder, glittering Stella McCartney suit. Roberts has a seasoned career and won three Golden Globes from nine nominations, although last night wasn’t lucky for her. Maybe next year will bring award number four?

Olivia Colman

Olivia Colman wore a stunning Stella McCartney dress that totally captivated viewers everywhere. She wore a black gown with lace at the top and popped it with red lipstick. The The Favorite star is somewhat of a British gem and will be portraying Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown.

Timothee Chalamet

This beautiful boy and star of Beautiful Boy, Timothee Chalamet, had a sparkle to his all-black ensemble with a sequined Louis Vuitton harness. It’s a nice addition to an otherwise conservative outfit. It’s been a busy few years for the actor: he’s been nominated twice for his performances.
