Here are a few real stories of stars who married their fans, and that can give you a flicker of hope. Here’s to luck and hope: check out these cases that will rebuild that tiny, little of faith that you too could catch a celebrity lover.
Christian Bale and Sibi Blazic
Christian Bale is one of Hollywood’s most desired men. The actor has unbelievable skills and is particularly known for his strength in getting into any role. Although he had, and still has, a large list of ladies waiting to be the one he falls in love with, Bale ended up marrying one of his fans, Sibi Blazic.
These two met at a party during the production of the popular movie Little Women. Blazic is a former supermodel and served as the personal assistant for Winona Ryder. In the past, she also worked as a makeup artist. They got married in 2000 and share two children together.
Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink
Patrick Dempsey gained the nickname “McDreamy” during the show Grey’s Anatomy, and for a good reason. Those who viewed the man on the show or in reviews couldn’t stop dreaming about the moment he would fall in love with them. For Jillian Fink, it was a moment that came true.
Fink was working as a hairstylist at a showroom when she met the attractive actor. He walked in to make an booking while she was working. Soon, the two fell in love and married in 1999. They have three kids and prove dreams do come true.
Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
This Legally Blonde star, Reese Witherspoon, stole our hearts when she told the world that blonde people are smart, too. Witherspoon was, at a time, one of the most discussed celebrities in Hollywood, so it makes sense that she had a few secret admirers.
Witherspoon met Toth on a night out. One of his drunk buddies was trying to hit on her and Toth, who is a Hollywood talent agent, saw that Reese was not exactly keen. He went over to “save her,” and the two hit it off. The friend was a great wingman if you ask us!
Kelly Preston and John Travolta
Although Kelly Preston is a personality in her own right, she was no different from anyone else who saw Grease when it first came out in 1978. Kelly, like the rest of us normal people, developed a huge crush on its star John Travolta.
His dance moves and his lovable charm did a number on all of us. She told the press that she was determined to marry John one day. Later in 1987, they met at a movie screen test for a film called The Experts. They shared one dance together and supposedly that’s when the sparks between them flew.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin
These two are both so wildly famous that we are not completely sure which one of these wedded their hero. Was it the beautiful and gifted actress Gwyneth or was it the leading singer and founder of the iconic band Coldplay?
Their story began with Paltrow’s drive to get backstage and reach the members of one of her beloved bands, Coldplay, during their concert. The star used her connections and made her way to the lead singer, Chris Martin. Even though they split up in 2016, they remain good friends.
Adam Sandler and Jackie Titone
Adam Sandler met his eventual wife on the set of the legendary movie Big Daddy. Titone was by no means famous but was actually filling in as a waitress in the shoot. Jackie was always a big fan of Adam; his jokes especially charmed her.
Shortly after the movie came out, Adam and Jackie started to date. The two were a complete match and chose to spend the rest of their lives together. Titone has actually appeared alongside her husband in various movies including Just Go With It, 50 first Dates, and Grown Ups.
Julia Roberts and Danny Moder
Roberts and Moder hit it off and took their passion off the set and into their private lives. After a few years of dating, they married and had three children together. We now think it’s ok to dream high because, honestly, anything can happen!
Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man fell in love with a person who is exactly that… a friendly person from your local neighborhood. Tobey Maguire was filming the 2003 sports movie, Seabiscuit when he saw the woman of his dreams.
Jennifer Meyer was never actually a celebrity. She was just an average but talented jewelry designer. She was always a huge fan of the actor and went through her famous connections to get herself introduced to Maguire. The two fell for each other and got married. Sadly, they split in 2017 after nine years of marriage.
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham
These two are a different example of superstars who were huge fans of each other before they actually met. It is funny to think that the strong, gifted, and handsome soccer player, David Beckham, was a fan of the girly-pop band Spice Girls. However, it makes sense when we realize why he loved them so much.
David said that he had an enormous crush on Victoria Beckham (then Adams) after watching her sing as Posh Spice. Victoria revealed that she also used to check out the soccer player when scrolling through magazines. In 1997 these two finally met and 20 years later, they are still married with four children.
