While her parents had humble beginnings and her mother was a kindergarten teacher and her father was a computer specialist, there are other family members who jumped on the showbiz bandwagon.

Her younger sister, Lynda, worked as an anchor for shows including Good Day New York and Fox 5 Live and ABC Radio. Jennifer’s older sister Leslie works as a music teacher in the Bronx of New York.
