Well, it’s finally here!
Fans have been wondering what happened to Tom Holland’s Spider-Man ever since he disappeared in Tony Stark’s arms at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Now audiences are about to find out.
Of course, Spider-Man was always going to survive in one way or another. The sequel was announced before we knew the end of the Avengers in 2018. Still, it remained much of a mystery as to how he would return.
It makes no mention of The Decimation (what Marvel has officially called ‘The Snap’ that wiped out half the universe). We can see the return of Peter Parker and Nick Fury, who apparently return without a scratch. The trailer also shows us Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio for the first time.

The official synopsis reads:
Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
Spider-Man: Far From Home is swinging into theaters on July 5 2019.
