Tom Cruise is one of the most famous figures in the Church of Scientology and has often spoken of how the religion saved him in many aspects of his life. It turns out that his first wife Mimi Rogers who introduced him to the controversial religion as her father was a good friend of found L Ron Hubbard.

Rogers is said to not be a part of the Church anymore, like many other celebrities, but she has not confirmed this. It was said that Cruise became involved when the study courses were said to have helped him overcome dyslexia.
