Grey’s Anatomy had a number of loving relationships, but a lot of breakups too. When Derek and Meredith spent an unexpected night together, fans were shocked yet excited at the prospect of them ending up together.

However, Derek chose to give his marriage another shot instead of progressing things with Meredith. Meredith herself realized she didn’t want to lose him but her trust issues became too much. Thankfully, they got back together after a hiatus and married.
