WATCH: Netflix Spends $125 Million On Its New Film

Netflix has released the trailer for The Irishman, its highly anticipated film starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Harvey Keitel.

The Martin Scorsese movie reunites some of the biggest gangster actors from the 1970s and 1980s. It is his first film since 2016’s Silence, but he’s making sure to bring back the whole gang.

The official synopsis is below:

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th Century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries, and connections to mainstream politics.

It is expected that the film will span decades and be Netflix’s first major Oscar push in fiction films. It is the first time that frequent collaborators Robert De Nero and Martin Scorsese have worked together since 1995’s Casino.

While Netflix has not yet released a streaming date for The Irishman, it will premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 27. Will you be watching?
